The Script Room is BBC writersroom's brand new system for accepting unsolicited scripts, which has moved from a rolling submissions system to one with three annual open calls in January, May and September.
From the BBC Writersroom website:
"The Script Room is a place where you can send your script to be assessed by our team of experienced readers. We read all scripts as a calling card of a writer's talent because it's our job to find people to develop rather than ideas to make. But if we think a script is great, we will recommend it on for development. "
The Spring 2012 Script Room submission window closes at 5pm on 21st May 2012.
