The first was Time to Remember: A Woman's World. It used archive footage and commentary to look at the way a woman's role changed in Britain, from 1900-1950. The footage is great and makes for inspiring and insightful viewing. I'm just annoyed that I've missed the rest of the series.

The second programme was the Highlands on Film, another programme made of archive material. While not as powerful as Time to Remember, there were some lovely moments captured here, and it was fascinating to see the changes the Highlands went through on film.
Both programmes available until 12 August 2011 on iPlayer.
