I spend far too much time faffing around on Facebook and Flickr (among other sites), so I've installed a tool which should limit my procrastination time online.
LeechBlock is a Firefox add-on "designed to block those time-wasting sites that can suck the life out of your working day."
It's very easy to customise after installation: you just type in the URL's you want blocked, the days and times you want to block them, and hey presto, you can't muck about.
I do, of course, realise that it would be easier to just stop going on the aforementioned sites, but that's no fun now, is it?
